In September 2027 the Ryder Cup comes to Ireland for the first time in twenty years, as Europe take on the USA at Adare Manor, County Limerick from 13 to 19 September 2027. With the contest marking 100 years since the first Ryder Cup in 1927, it promises to be one of the biggest sporting weeks Ireland has ever hosted, and accommodation close to Adare will be in very high demand.
The Tides B&B in Ballybunion, County Kerry, is around an hour's drive from Adare Manor, making it the perfect base for golf fans who want a relaxed, friendly place to stay during Ryder Cup week, with world-famous links golf on the doorstep.
Ballybunion is roughly 67 km from Adare, about an hour by car. There is no spectator parking at Adare Manor itself, so fans travel in on the official park and ride shuttles, which need to be booked in advance. Drive to your park and ride in the morning, enjoy the golf, and come back to the peace of the Kerry coast in the evening instead of the crowds of the city.
Ryder Cup days start early. We already serve a self-service continental breakfast from 5am for the enthusiastic early golfers at Ballybunion, so you can eat before you set off and be at the gates for the first tee shot. A full cooked breakfast, including our guests' favourite homemade crepe pancakes with maple syrup and a full Irish breakfast, can be arranged at a time to suit you.
